Dodgers recall Micah Johnson from Triple-A

LOS ANGELES — Now that the season is over for Oklahoma City, the Dodgers on Monday will recall infielder Micah Johnson from Triple-A before their series opener with the Giants.

Johnson is expected to arrive at some point before game time.

Oklahoma City reached the Pacific Coast League Championship Series, but lost in four games to El Paso, eliminated on Saturday night.

Johnson, acquired from the White Sox in the three-team Todd Frazier trade with the Reds in December, hit .261/.321/.356 in 120 games for Oklahoma City in 2016, with 26 steals in 37 attempts. He only played second base as a professional before this year, but with OKC has also started 20 games in left field, 14 games in center field and two more at third base.
