The Los Angeles Dodgers placed Victor Gonzalez and Mitch White on the injured list, and recalled Garrett Cleavinger and DJ Peters prior to Tuesday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds.
A designation was not given for either Gonzalez or White, though presumably are on the COVID-related IL. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts indicated multiple players were vaccinated after Monday’s loss, and side effects could require roster moves.
“I’m not as versed with the timing of some of these shots with players,” said Roberts, who is among those in the Dodgers organization already fully vaccinated. “Just kind of depending on how they feel, we’ve got guys that are here to potentially backfill.
