The Los Angeles Dodgers designated reliever Chris Stratton for assignment earlier this week. Once he cleared waivers, he was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Stratton then rejected the assignment and elected free agency. On Friday, the right-hander re-signed with the Dodgers as a free agent and joined the team in St. Louis for the start of their six-game road trip.
