LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Friday promoted Cuban infielder Hector Olivera to Triple-A Oklahoma City after eight days in Double-A Tulsa.
Olivera will reportedly make his Oklahoma City debut on Saturday, per Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.
Oklahoma City hosts the Nashville Sounds (Athletics) this weekend, and Olivera's first Triple-A pitcher faced will be right-hander Zach Neal.
Olivera was 7-for-22 (.318) with a home run, six RBI and three walks in six games for the Drillers, including 2-for-4 in Thursday night's nationally televised game against Northwest Arkansas.
