Dodgers Promote Aaron Bates To Co-Hitting Coach

While the roster remains intact, the Dodgers look to upgrade their personnel. Brant Brown has officially been replaced by Aaron Bates as the Dodgers new co-hitting coach for the 2023 season.

Bates will work alongside Robert Van Scoyoc and the team now looks for a new replacement to fill the assistant hitting coach role. Bates was the assistant hitting coach since the 2019 season.

Bates began his carer as a pro in 2006 when he was drafted in the third round by the Boston Red Sox. Bates went on to appear in just five major league games and hit an RBI single in his first at-bat.
