Dodgers: Player Announces Signing with LA in Hilarious Way

Over the weekend, the Dodgers took a break from signing journeyman pitchers to minor league deals. According to his Twitter account, the Dodgers have agreed to terms with utility man Ty Kelly.

Kelly, who went to high school in Stockton and played his college ball at UC-Davis, had some fun with the fact that he’s now playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Based on his list of alma maters, one would assume Kelly grew up rooting for the San Francisco Giants – the preeminent bay area MLB team (sorry A’s). A quick scroll through Kelly’s feed would confirm one’s suspicions.
