The Los Angeles Dodgers are placing left-handed reliever Tanner Scott on the injured list with left forearm discomfort, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced.
Right-handed reliever Alexis Diaz is replacing him on the active roster.
Scott, 31, joined the Dodgers on a four-year, $72 million deal this past offseason after earning All-Star honors in 2024 with the Miami Marlins before getting traded to the San Diego Padres midseason.
However, Scott has failed to recapture his success from last season, sporting a 4.14 ERA with a league-leading seven blown saves.
Scott left Monday night’s game in the top of the ninth inning after throwing his 22nd pitch of the night.
