The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated Max Muncy off the injured list after a month-long absence. He’s replacing Tommy Edman on the roster, who’s heading to the IL with a right ankle injury.
Muncy has been out since early July after suffering a freak knee injury when Chicago White Sox outfielder Michael A. Taylor slid into his leg.
Muncy was initially expected to miss a minimum of six weeks, but he made incredible progress, and is back just over a month after sustaining the injury.
The Dodgers lineup has greatly missed Muncy, who was hitting .
