The Dodgers made a pair of roster moves Wednesday in order to activate Hyun-jin Ryu from the disabled list. Ross Stripling was placed on the 10-day DL with lower back inflammation and Tony Cingrani was moved to the 60-day DL.
Stripling was supposed to be available in the bullpen Tuesday behind Alex Wood, but developed a sore lower back. No word on if this back problem is as serious as the toe injury he just came off the DL from last week.
The piecing together of the pitching staff until rosters expand in September has been a juggling act, that’s for sure.
