Dodgers Open to Different Treatment Options for Blake Snell, Says Dave Roberts

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell was placed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation after making just two starts for the team he signed a five-year, $182 million contract with this offseason.

The two-time Cy Young winner was shut down from throwing after he suffered a setback in his rehab program. Snell was set to be re-evaluated on Thursday or Friday.

“As he was playing catch, (Snell) just didn’t feel great,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said of the reason for Snell’s shut down.
