The Dodgers signed Justin Turner to a contract almost a week ago without an official announcement. The team had 40 guys on their roster so a corresponding move was necessary to make that happen.
The deal that was reported last week came directly from Turner himself. JT posted on social media that he was not going anywhere and that was followed by reports of the contract details. The Dodgers gave him two years at $34 million with the option for a third year.
