Dodgers Notes: Yoshinobu Yamamoto History, Starting Pitcher Announcements, Coach Could Leave for Rival

The Los Angeles Dodgers took down the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-1, behind a Yoshinobu Yamamoto complete game masterpiece. The ace tossed eight strikeouts, no walks, and allowed just four hits in what was a historic night.

The history in question had to do with Yamamoto becoming the first pitcher to toss back-to-back complete games in the postseason since 2001. He also threw the first complete game in a World Series since 2015, while becoming the first pitcher with multiple complete games in the same postseason since 2014, among other historic feats.

In other news, manager Dave Roberts announced who the starting pitchers will be for Games 3 and 4 of the World Series.
