Dodgers Notes: Will Smith Status Up in the Air, Roki Sasaki Makes History, Miguel Rojas Injury Update

The Los Angeles Dodgers still have All-Star catcher Will Smith’s status for Game 3 of the NLDS up in the air. Smith came off the bench in Games 1 and 2 and was able to both bat and continue to work behind the plate after replacing Ben Rortvedt. The Dodgers could deploy a similar game plan in Game 3.

In other news, rookie right-hander Roki Sasaki made history after his save on Monday night. Sasaki has been electric since his return to the mound after more than four months on the injured list, but instead of it being out of the rotation, the 23-year-old has been a pivotal member of the bullpen.
