The World Baseball Classic is approaching, and is now just three months away. With the amount of talent the Los Angeles Dodgers have, there are bound to be some storylines heading into the tournament.
Shohei Ohtani, who declared he’d be playing in the tournament, made his return to pitching this season, and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts spoke about the possibility of him pitching in the tournament.
“I don’t know,” Roberts said when asked if Ohtani would pitch in the WBC at the Winter Meetings. “I’m hoping he doesn’t. … I would say, the thought is he’s probably just going to hit, but I don’t know.
