Dodgers Notes: Shohei Ohtani Removed From No-Hitter, LA Sends Down Catcher, Dave Roberts’ Decision Questioned By Insider

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Philadelphia Phillies, 9-6, on Tuesday despite five no-hit innings from Shohei Ohtani, and his 50th home run of the year. LA fell to 84-67 on the year.

The five no-hit innings in question were something that Dodgers manager Dave Roberts received intense criticism for on social media. To make matters worse, the Phillies dropped six runs on the Dodgers the very next inning.

In other news, the Dodgers sent a catcher back down to Triple-A ahead of the eventual loss. The Dodgers also activated rookie backstop Dalton Rushing in a corresponding move.
