Dodgers Notes: Roki Sasaki Nearing Return, Mookie Betts Changes Mindset, NL West Lead Shrinking

The Los Angeles Dodgers fell to the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-4, on Sunday as a late-game home run barrage helped Toronto avoid the sweep. LA fell to 68-50 on the year as their lead in the NL West shrinks to 2 games.

In better news, right-hander Roki Sasaki is nearing a return to the mound and has his sights set on starting a rehab assignment this week. The 23-year-old phenom has been out with a shoulder impingement since May, but recently completed three “pain-free” simulated innings on Friday.

Additionally, superstar Mookie Betts recently spoke on how he shifted his mindset to try and help the Dodgers win.
