The Los Angeles Dodgers have their starting rotation revealed for the looming NLDS battle against the Philadelphia Phillies. Three-time (and soon to be four-time) MVP Shohei Ohtani will take the mound to start Game 1 as his most recent outing against the Phillies included five no-hit innings earlier this month.
In other future Hall of Famer news, Clayton Kershaw’s roster status has been revealed for the NLDS. The southpaw wasn’t on the Wild Card series roster, but also threw 94 pitches the Sunday prior.
Finally, 23-year-old right hander Roki Sasaki received some much-deserved praise from president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman.
