The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-1, on Saturday night, and fell to 77-59 on the year. LA is now just one game ahead of the San Diego Padres in the NL West.
In other news, while the Dodgers are awaiting the return of All-Star Max Muncy, he has suffered an unfortunate setback on his road to recovery. The slugger’s setback isn’t related to his current oblique injury as his return date to the team is at risk of being pushed back.
Additionally, manager Dave Roberts made his intentions known about where he wants to play Mookie Betts for the rest of the season.
