Dodgers Notes: Max Muncy Injury, Ex-Dodger Suddenly Retires, LA Targeting Reliever in Trade, Clayton Kershaw History

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox, 5-4, on Wednesday by way of a walk-off RBI single by Freddie Freeman to move to 55-32 on the year.

Clayton Kershaw hit the 3,000 strikeout milestone and earned a well-deserved ovation and celebration at Dodger Stadium.

Unfortunately, just a few pitches before Kershaw’s historic strikeout, Max Muncy suffered a scary knee injury after Michael A. Taylor slid into him while stealing a base. The Dodgers are “optimistic” it’s just a sprain, but it didn’t look good in the moment.
