The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the New York Mets, 3-1, on Sunday. They dropped the series and fell to 32-21 on the year.
Ahead of the eventual defeat, the Dodgers signed a veteran pitcher. In a time when the pitching roster needs the most assistance, the former World Series champion will hope to produce quality innings and reinforce an ailing part of the team.
Additionally, a relief pitcher was designated for assignment, and Bobby Miller was optioned as a result of the veteran signing. Miller made just his second major league appearance of 2025 on Saturday, but will promptly head back to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
