The Los Angeles Dodgers officially released a right-handed relief pitcher. The 26-year-old from Santa Maria, CA showed promise this past spring training and earned a trip to Japan with the team to start the season before making 10 regular season appearances.

In other news, Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto received some incredible praise from future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw. The southpaw remarked on the eventual World Series MVP’s phenomenal 2.2 innings during Game 7 on zero days’ rest.

Speaking of the World Series MVP, Yamamoto spoke on how his longtime trainer “tricked” him into pitching in Game 7.
