Dodgers Notes: LA Makes Trade, Targeting AL Central Relievers at Deadline, Starter Could Be Removed From Rotation

Related Topics: Los Angeles Dodgers, Dustin May

The Los Angeles Dodgers made a trade with the Minnesota Twins on Monday. The right-hander was designated for assignment last week after a disappointing outing against the Houston Astros.

Additionally, this may not be the last trade with the Twins as the Dodgers have been linked to two of their formidable relievers. Both bullpen arms are putting up incredible numbers this season and can be utilized on a Dodgers pitching roster marred with injuries.

To round out the pitching news, Dustin May is at risk of being removed from the rotation. The right-hander has had less-than-ideal outings lately and may see more effectiveness coming out of the bullpen, especially with Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki trending towards a return to the mound.
