Dodgers Notes: LA Makes Roster Move, Signs Veteran Utility Man, Max Muncy Future

The Los Angeles Dodgers got back into the win column Saturday night as they beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 8-4, and snapped a three-game losing skid. L.A. improved to 17-10.

Ahead of the win, the Dodgers activated a right-handed pitcher and optioned fellow right-hander Noah Davis. The new member of the pitching roster was recently DFA’d by the 2024 World Series runners-up, the New York Yankees.

It was not the only Dodgers roster addition as L.A. recently signed a veteran utility man. The new Dodger was most recently putting up pretty productive numbers in the Mexican League, but also has prior MLB experience.
