The Los Angeles Dodgers completed the sweep of the Colorado Rockies after a 3-1 victory on Thursday afternoon. L.A. is now tied for an MLB-best record of 51-31, while Clayton Kershaw sits just three strikeouts away from 3,000 in his career.
Ahead of the eventual victory, the Dodgers made a roster move, activating a pitcher from the injured list. The right-handed relief pitcher has been out since the end of May and will look to assist an ailing pitching roster.
In more pitching news, superstar Shohei Ohtani has his next start revealed by manager Dave Roberts. The impending start will also be Ohtani’s first road start in a Dodgers uniform, after his last two outings came at Dodger Stadium.
