The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds, 7-0, on Monday night. LA improved to 75-57 on the year and regained sole possession of the No. 1 spot in the NL West thanks to an Emmet Sheehan gem and a pair of Andy Pages long balls.
Ahead of the eventual victory, the Dodgers made a roster move, activating fan favorite utility man Kiké Hernandez from the injured list. In a corresponding move, an infielder that was acquired earlier this month was designated for assignment.
Additionally, veteran outfielder Michael Conforto is at risk of losing his spot on the roster according to an MLB insider.
