The Los Angeles Dodgers made a few different moves in one of the most electric trade deadlines in recent memory.
LA started the day by acquiring a high-leverage reliever, and as the tantalizing day of deals marched on, the Dodgers also snagged a productive player from the Washington Nationals who can play all around the outfield. The Dodgers also landed some exciting prospects before the deadline, but two Dodgers fan favorites were dealt as a result.
Right-hander Dustin May was swapped for two outfield prospects, and outfielder James Outman was traded for a formidable relief pitcher. Both players helped deliver championships to the city and their contributions and impact will be missed.
