Dodgers Notes: Drake Trolls Shohei Ohtani, Embarrassing World Series Performance, LA Faces Elimination

The Los Angeles Dodgers were embarrassed during Game 5 of the World Series, losing to the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-1, on Wednesday. From a home run allowed off Blake Snell’s first pitch of the game, to the next home run two pitches later, things were bleak from the jump for LA.

Ahead of the eventual loss, manager Dave Roberts shook up the lineup and moved Mookie Betts down to the No. 3 spot, Will Smith up to the No. 2 spot, and swapped Andy Pages out for Alex Call. Smith, Betts, and Call combined for five strikeouts and one hit on the night, with Smith hitting a ninth inning single.
