The Los Angeles Dodgers have had plenty of struggles on the mound this season, and in an attempt to solve some of these issues, they have acquired All-Star closer Alexis Diaz from the Cincinnati Reds. The trade came at a time when a key reliever was transferred to the 60-day injured list.
The relatively minimal return for Diaz was last season’s 13th-round draft pick. The Dodgers will do what they can to get the right-hander back to his 2023 All-Star-caliber form and become an effective member of the bullpen.
