Superstar Shohei Ohtani launched his 55th home run of the year which is both his MLB career-high and a Dodgers franchise record, while Clayton Kershaw tossed seven strikeouts over 5.1 scoreless innings in the final regualar season start of his illustrious career.
Speaking of Kershaw, he was left off the final roster for the Wild Card series that is set to begin on Tuesday. The door isn’t closed on a postseason appearances from the three-time Cy Young award winner, and especially during the brutal stretch of play from the bullpen, it is something that he has offered to do down the stretch.
