Dodgers Notes: Brock Stewart Out for Season, Max Muncy Has Injury, Tommy Edman Hurt Again

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Seattle Mariners, 3-2, on Friday night and improved to 91-69 on the year.

In other news, trade deadline acquisition Brock Stewart is out for the remainder of the season as he will undergo shoulder surgery. The right-handed reliever will also miss part of next season as well in a brutal development.

Additionally, All-Star third baseman Max Muncy has an injury of his own. He has a leg injury after getting hit by a pitch and it kept him out of the lineup during Friday’s win.

Finally, to round out the unfortunate injury news less than a week before the postseason begins, Tommy Edman is still nursing an ankle injury that has nagged him for the last few months.
