The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies, 9-7, on Tuesday evening and improved to 49-31 on the year. Home runs by Michael Conforto and Shohei Ohtani propelled the Dodgers to take the first of three games in Denver.
As the trade deadline approaches, L.A. has been linked to a pitcher that would alter the state of MLB if a deal were to arise. The Dodgers are in need of more pitching depth, and another Cy Young award winner for the back half of 2025 would be incredible if the risk doesn’t outweigh the reward.
