The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds, 6-3, on Tuesday and improved to 76-57 on the year thanks to a Clayton Kershaw gem and the return of Kiké Hernández.
During the game, however, outfielder Alex Call exited with an apparent injury. Manager Dave Roberts said he felt something in his lower back, but added he’s not too concerned.
“We’ll see how he responds to treatment tomorrow,” Roberts said,” but I don’t think it’s too concerning.”
In other news, the Dodgers signed a veteran reliever to fortify the bullpen last week as they inked a right-hander to a minor league contract.
