Dodgers News: Yasiel Puig To Serve Two-Game Suspension Against Mets After Appeal Denied

Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig got into it with San Francisco Giants catcher Nick Hundley on Aug. 14 as Hundley took exception to Puig getting angry at himself after fouling off a pitch he felt he should have hit.

Hundley didn’t enforce any physical contact though, so he was just fined for his actions, while Puig was fined and suspended two games for putting his hands on Hundley. As is normally the case when players get suspended for fighting, Puig appealed the suspension so he has been able to play throughout the last couple weeks.
