Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow won’t return to the rotation as soon as expected.
Glasnow, who landed on the injured list at the end of April, gave up five runs on seven hits in his second rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. The Dodgers hoped the right-hander would get through at least four frames, but instead, Glasnow wound up lasting just 2.1 innings.
The latest setback means Glasnow will likely need at least two more rehab starts before making his long-awaited return to the Dodgers rotation, per manager Dave Roberts.
Glasnow was sidelined by a shoulder issue, and is one of three key starters out with injury.
