Dodgers News: Tyler Anderson Goes On Paternity Leave, Jackson Recalled

Prior to Saturday night’s game against the Giants, the Dodgers announced that All-Star pitcher Tyler Anderson would be sent on paternity leave and RHP Andre Jackson would take his place on the active roster for the time being.

Anderson will take three days off to be with his wife and welcome their new child into the world most likely just missing one start.

Anderson who leads the team in most innings pitched this season at 161.2 got his last start on the 12th against the Diamondbacks. He pitched a scoreless 7 innings and collected 2 more strikeouts, giving him 119 total this year.
