Dodgers News: Top Pitching Prospect Bobby Miller Battling Shoulder Soreness

Dodgers top pitching prospect Bobby Miller was sent down on Monday as part of the second round of spring training cuts. Miller never got into a Cactus League game, but manager Dave Roberts made it clear that this lack of playing time was the plan all along. Roberts wanted Miller with the big league squad, and getting experience working the guys, but didn’t want to rush his ramp-up after his increased workload last season.

So, Miller got a good month or so with the big league guys, and is now going back down to the minors to continue working ahead of the start of the Oklahoma City Dodgers season.
