Dodgers News: Tony Gonsolin Signs Two-Year Deal with LA to Avoid Arbitration

Well, it felt like a regular old Tuesday afternoon. But all of a sudden, it became quite the opposite. On Tuesday, the Dodgers announced via their Twitter that they agreed to a two-year, $6.65 million deal with All-Star RHP Tony Gonsolin, that will avoid arbitration both this season and in 2024.

The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to terms with All-Star RHP Tony Gonsolin on a two-year contract through the 2024 season for $6.65 million.

This deal is very similar to the one the Dodgers signed with RHP Walker Buehler to avoid arbitration in 2021 and 2022, as they’re betting on Gonsolin staying healthy over the next two seasons.
