The Los Angeles Dodgers were swept by the Houston Astros at Dodger Stadium this weekend, being outscored 29-6 across the three-game set.
To make matters worse, three position players — Tommy Edman, Kiké Hernández and Teoscar Hernández — didn’t play on Sunday as they’re dealing with varying injuries.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided updates on each of the three players after the team’s 5-1 loss on Sunday.
Tommy Edman Injury
Tommy Edman has a hairline fracture in his right pinky toe. Robets said he is unlikely to go on the injured list.
Kiké Hernandez Injury
Kiké Hernández has left elbow soreness, and was unavailable on Sunday.
