Dodgers News: Roberts Provides Injury Updates on Lux, Gonsolin, Taylor, McKinstry

After a relatively healthy spring training, the Dodgers quickly became the walking wounded once the season started. Heading into play, the club has eight players on the injured list with various maladies and a couple more on the active roster dealing with problems of their own.

Pitchers

The biggest news involves pitcher Corey Knebel, who will “miss months” after exiting Friday night’s game in obvious pain. With the Dodgers losing a key high leverage reliever, the questions turned to when will other pitchers return?

On the Tony Gonsolin front, Roberts told media on Saturday that the right-hander had progressed to 180 feet in his throwing program, but has yet to pitch off a mound since the start of the season.
