Ahead of a double header in Chicago today, the Dodgers announced a roster move adding pitcher Robbie Erlin. The left-hander joins the roster as the allowed 27th man for the day.

Down in Triple-A, Erlin has posted a 5.62 ERA while struggling to keep runners off the basepaths over 21.2 innings pitched. The 31 year-old was signed to a minor league deal this past offseason and made one appearance for LA during spring training before being shipped out.
