Dodgers News: Noah Syndergaard’s Fastball Velocity is Already Trending Up for LA

Los Angeles made a quiet, but significant signing this offseason by acquiring pitcher Noah Syndergaard to a one-year deal.

Last season, Syndergaard threw 134.2 innings between the Phillies and the Angels while posting a 3.94 ERA. Now that he is on the Dodgers, he hopes to improve his game with some help from the team’s pitching coaches.

One of Syndergaard’s most prominent issues was a drop in velocity. In his introductory press conference, one of the main things he addressed was getting his velocity back up. According to manager Dave Roberts, the 30–year-old is already making strides.
