Homecomings for any athletes usually come with an array of emotions, but for current Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts, his main feeling is nervousness upon his upcoming return to Fenway Park.
The former Boston Red Sox MVP mentioned some anxious anticipation coming back to the ballpark where he first introduced himself to the national MLB stage.
“This will be my first time going back since 2019. I’m really nervous. Like, I’m really nervous. It’s more just that I haven’t been back in so long. It’s where I grew up, and I don’t know what to expect. Hopefully it’s cool, though.
