Dodgers News: Michael Busch Wasn’t Overly Concerned With Getting Called Back to Big Leagues

With J.D. Martinez heading to the injured list for “a couple, three weeks“, according to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, the Dodgers recalled rookie infielder Michael Busch Tuesday. Busch has appeared in 48 games in the big leagues this season but never took off. He was averaging .200 and just 4 RBI when he was sent back to the minor leagues in June.

A trip down to Triple-A Oklahoma City has proven to revive Busch’s reliable hitting abilities. He possesses a 1.047 OPS and .615 slugging percentage, the top marks in the league and is second in extra-base hits and third in RBIs.
