The Dodgers may have found its third baseman of the future with its second pick of the 2023 MLB Draft.
With the 60th pick in the draft, the Dodgers selected Jake Gelof out of the University of Virginia. Gelof led the Cavaliers to two appearances at the College World Series in the three years he was in Charlottesville.
The Dodgers are getting a top college bat in Gelof. While at Virginia the 21-year old set many school records that haven’t been broken in years. Gelof set the record for most RBIs in a season at Virginia with 90.
