While a primary reason for the move was to separate the lefties Julio Urias and Clayton Kershaw at the top of the rotation, it also is a show of confidence in the hurler entering his fifth big league season.
Another offseason removed from 2021 Tommy John surgery and fully healthy, May is ready to settle into the grind of a full season for the first time. He spoke with AM570 LA Sports Radio recently about being ready to take the next step as a big leaguer and do big league things.
