Dodger fans received some positive news Saturday as pitcher Shelby Miller made his first appearance in a game since being placed on the injured list in June with an unspecified neck issue.
Miller threw a scoreless inning in the Arizona Complex Saturday, allowing one hit. Because he was placed on the 60-day injured list, the earliest Miller can return to the mound for the Dodgers is Aug. 20.
Roberts gave some more information on what Miller had been going through, saying that he had been dealing with some “nerve stuff” that “went from his neck to his fingers, where he just didn’t have feeling in his fingers.
