Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Happy With First Outing Despite Poor Results

Clayton Kershaw took the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers for the first time in Spring Training yesterday. The boys in blue faced off against the crosstown rival Angels and fans were excited to watch Kershaw preview what he has cooking for his 16th season with the franchise.

Unfortunately, the southpaw veteran’s struggles were clear in his spring debut.

Clayton Kershaw's first spring training start for the Dodgers:

3 IP
5 H
3 ER
2 HR
2 BB
2 K
58 P

He only had one game last year in which he allowed 2 home runs and 2 walks (June 28 at Coors Field).
