The Dodgers have gone through the 2023 season without the services of a few heavily relied-upon members from previous years. Their pitching staff overall has been a bit uncharacteristic from what we have become accustomed to, and it caused them problems earlier in the season.
Things have calmed down a bit for the team, but it’s still not perfect. They are still looking for consistent coverage out of the pen.
One of those players is relief pitcher Blake Treinen. He has missed the entire season after he underwent shoulder surgery last November, and it has been a long road back.
