The Los Angeles Dodgers appear to be gearing up for another offseason of retooling their roster as they didn’t seem satisfied with just two consecutive championships at their recent World Series parade.
As the front office examines the ball club and looks to make the necessary changes, one area that is undoubtedly a facet of the team that needs improving is outfield depth and production.
Michael Conforto and Teoscar Hernández both had down years (with Conforto hitting .199 by season’s end), and each rank towards the bottom of MLB defensively. For these reasons and more, ESPN’s David Schoenfield recently labeled the Dodgers as a ‘best fit’ for Chicago Cubs All-Star Kyle Tucker.
