Dodgers Minor League Pitchers Reza Aleaziz, Juan Idrogo Suspended For Violating Minor League Drug Prevention & Treatment Program

Los Angeles Dodgers Minor League pitchers Reza Aleaziz and Juan Idrogo were each suspended after testing positive for a banned substance.

Aleaziz received a 50-game suspension without pay for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program by ingesting Amphetamine, a stimulant. The Dodgers selected Aleaziz out of Oklahoma State in the 28th round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

He debuted with Rookie-level Ogden that year, and spent time with both the Raptors and High-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes last season. Aleaziz was part of the Low-A Great Lakes Loons roster, but was placed on the restricted list upon being suspended.
